The KDX 175 of 1981-82 is the same 173 cc, air-cooled two-stroke enduro as the 1980 bike, with reed-valve induction, kick starting and a six-speed gearbox. Its telescopic forks, single adjustable rear shock and drum brakes keep it a simple, light trail machine. It was one of the better all-round enduro bikes of its era.
